    SO how is LO going to know how much you have spend on Him/Her. Have a lovely budget O/S party with the family and hang onto the pan for now until you have really decided what to do with it. Or at least found out its true value.

    Don't clean it up.

    It won't look as old and may lose it's appeal to anyone interested in buying an antique.

    If it is copper even the value of the copper itself by weight probably would be much more than a fiver, have it valued properly, don't just rely on ebay, it looks like something that a museum would really value having. Good luck!
    Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
