OK, peeps, I am not 100% on this answer, however I can't for the life of me think what else it could be! The images are really hard to match and there's no major landmark to pick out. So if you have a better idea than mine, please shout and I'll double check against what I have.
The capital of this province was once the country's capital and is still a cultural hub. The region's 1000km of coastline features coconut groves, tropical islands and whale-watching. Inland, mountains rise to over 2,000km. Food, architecture and festivals reflect a unique mix of European and African influences. Name the province.
Answer - Western Cape Province, South Africa.
Email your answer by Wednesday to viewfinder@observer.co.uk or send a postcard with address and phone number, to Viewfinder, The Observer, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London, N1 9GU.
Good luck (and hope I've got the answer right!)
