Europeremove.com?

Hi folks,

We are moving house on Friday, and are using europeremove to do so....Now, i am aware it is normally expensive but have found the above that quoted the removal for £200 (including VAT). It seems very cheap to me? Especially as the move includes two men and a 140 mile distance. (not including their return journey) As a comparison Pickfords were 750 (not including VAT)

Has anyone ever used europremove or heard anything negative about them?

Kind regards,
Neil.

Seems way too cheap to me, cheapest quote I've had is £670 and that's for a distance of 30 miles!

The usual payable mileage allowance is 40p per mile for a private car, 280 miles would be £112 and a commercial vehicle would cost more to run. Say an average of 40 mph so 7 hrs x 2 men x wages (say £10 per hr) = £140, that's over £250 before VAT added, mens' time loading/unloading. So either they've misquoted or haven't a clue.

My in-laws have just been quoted a fraction of what we were at the height of the boom, so maybe they are eager for business. Having said that, £200 seems very low.
    Been away for a while.
