pdf viewing help

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Photogenic Name Dropper
Just since a couple of days ago whenever I download and view a document in .pdf form the pages are black -I understand that it's something to do with me but can't for the life of me figure out what and would appreciate a kick towards the solution please???

    tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it?

    Are you using Adobe Reader or something else to view the PDF's?

    You should be on 9.2 anyway (if you're on XP or Vista), so suggest you follow davester's advice and resinstall to 9.1.

    9.2??? I had only 9.1 installed yesterday

    Thanks - did the uninstall and reinstall and it's fine now - I get more baffled by the day about the foibles of software.

    Also saw that there's a 9.1.3 update to fix a security issue -not seen anything about 9.2.

    Am on Vista BTW but am now back to the pages being the correct colour, black paper with blue writing was making my eyes and head hurt!

    I blame Vista might not have been their fault but I will blame them anyway.
