    * With rates possibly dropping a little, now may not be the best time to switch, but as this isn't a fixed tariff I think EON will allow it to be changed down the line (or I can switch to another supplier)

    Hi planetf1

Many thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated. :T

Just to confirm, Save Online is not a fixed tariff and you can change at any time.

There are no penalties for changing to another E.ON product but, as other posters have advised, we do not give discounts on final bills when you change supplier.

Always best to pop your usage on to a comparison site to see how we do.

Hope this helps but give me a shout if you need more info. :)

Nice to see an eon rep on here offering constructive help. With other companies would do more of the same (across all industries)

I have to agree with you here. The Eon reps always seem to give constructive advice, and I have never seen them plug their own products. Also, when there's a tricky question, they always seem to investigate and give an honest reply - even it it looks bad on Eon.

I would say that this also applies to Craig the Scottish Power rep. :T
I sent an email to EON earlier today requesting info on their tariffs and included my usage figures. Within a couple of hours I had a call from an EON rep.

I can save money by switching to their Fixonline V3 but expressed concern that as it is a fixed rate I'm not sure thats the right way to go.
He said that I could start on the fixed rate as it the cheapest option for me but if prices come down I could switch to a cheaper EON tariff at no cost.
Or I could start on the Saveonline V3 which is slightly more expensive but is not fixed.

Out of all the companies that I have emailed they are the quickest with a response.
