Were getting married next month and I really want to go to Cuba for a honeymoon, but can we go as "Husband to be" is serving, and if we can where's the best area to go?

Your husband to be should inform his superiors of his plans and will probably need to have a briefing.0

I have just returned from Playa Pesquero in Cuba and whilst there met a serving member of the Royal Marines who was on a weeks holiday there. Not sure what 'armed forces' rules he had to follow but there should not be any issue with Cuban immigration. However as previously stated I would doubke check with the Cuban Consulate to avoid any unnecessary surprises.0

The OP should refer to my earlier post, my OH is in the military and we have been to Cuba twice.0

If he has a particularly sensitive job in the military (needing high level security clearances) there are possible problems but they shouldn't affect the average squaddie. He needs to take advice at work as to whether they are happy for him to travel there. For a standard package holiday with a UK tour company the answer is almost certainly yes, it's OK.
I'd ignore the advice to contact the Cubans - it will draw unwelcome attention to you.0
