It's that time again ... awaiting DLA renewal forms through the letterbox!

Options
My current DLA award ends January 31st. Last time I received the renewal forms over 6 months before (it was in July) the award ended. As it is now September and I still haven't received them, I am beginning to wonder what is happenning!

Obviously if I haven't received the forms by end of the month I shall have to contact them. Has anyone else noticed that they received the renewal forms much later than they previously did?

  • Hi mine arrived about 4 weeks late mine runs out in december. I would give it another couple of days to see if it arrives if it doesn't then give them a call.
    Good luck with your renewal.

Thanks valley's girl, good luck with yours as well! It's awful isn't it, you know it's coming but once the forms do arrive there begins the whole stress of it all and the waiting game.
  • It is very stressful, mine took 15 weeks to come back, but do try not to worry. (I know its easier said than done).

    ive got renewal forms.

    I cant stand it.

I cant belive they would make us "beg" every 2 years for DLA when my condition is basically "lifelong"

Why cant they save money and have one piece of paper with a box to tick "I confirm my condition remains the same as last time I applied"
