Last time I tried this I paid for a pound of goods with my clubcard credit and cashed voucher - so no outlay at all for an extra 1.50 of credit (and whatever i could find worth a quid):beer:0

I didn't realise that these cards were still being used!
no-one ever asks "do you have a clubcard"
I have just found out my card and will start using it again (with the voucher!)
many thanks!0 -
I know, and if you don't hand it over right at the start of payment they say they can't give you your points.bargain_babs wrote:no-one ever asks "do you have a clubcard"
I haven't got many points on my WH Smith card, because I so dislike their stores since they increased the height of all the displays. Very claustrophobic.
But I will try and get this and send OH in!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
thanks have enough now for a dvd for the kiddies0

The new t & cs say the voucher is only valid for one transaction per clubcard member - however, if you printed out another voucher and used it on another transaction...that would be ok wouldn't it?0

Technically the t&c's mean you can only use one voucher full stop but as Matt pointed out earlier in the thread, theres no way the staff know if you have used another voucher in the same day, unless of course you use the same staff member twice:D I used 3 vouchers in the space of 5 minutes last saturday and all in the same store. I made sure I had 3 different staff members serve me everytime and it was fine, no questions asked. I'm going to do the same again this week.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. I used 2 vouchers in 5 mins last Saturday as well.
BUT - I think the system might have changed. Went in yesturday. 1st voucher no probs. Went to a different till and second voucher would not work. The assistant was really helpfull and said she could not understand why it would not work. She then manually added 250 points on for me. She was really interested in the voucher and was going to print one off for herself when she got home.
Will be interesting to hear how you get on with your next 3 vouchers. As i said 2 vouchers last Sat. no probs. 2 yesturday - probs!!! They were the original ones as well - i.e. didn't have the new terms and conditions on them.0 -
I nearly got busted the other day. Lass at counter recognised me from a few days previously and reckoned the voucher could only be used once and wanted to know how many I had printed out.
Then security started hanging around behind me in an intimidating manner looking to make a pinch. I said I had printed out a couple - and she checked with supervisor who said put it through (just this once).
Fortunately I'd already bought the DVD boxset (The Wire @ £15) I'd fancied with the extra points earlier that day. Office mates have been enjoying the free gifts of chocolate all week. Nice giveaway but sooner or later they are going to get wise to the flaw in their system.0 -
Ill check this out about the points tomorrow probably. I think it will just not come up as "bonus points added" on the clubcard statement at the bottom of the receipt0

Gallop wrote:Sounds as though you moneysavers need a mobile phone sim costing £1 with £15 free mobile phone credit giving you a total of £16 worth of credit with Easymobile for an outlay of just £1. Also all calls to other Easymobile phones only cost 3p a min at all times. Needless to say i have now got all the family on Easymobile.
Basically go to the easymobile website to join up. Read the terms and conditions. If you are convinced its for you sign up for the sim costing £1 and use my number as a referral and you will get £10 credit and so will I. Its a free lunch!!
My number is 07962 475 806
You are only allowed to register 5 sims per address but we've all got grannys somewhere to play the game!
If we wanted a mobile sim we would be on the mobile board, and there is a referral board too, maybe you should try there.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
