Hello,
Can anyone please recommend a B&B in Oxford?
Not too expensive. Central enough to be able to walk everywhere easily.
Looking to go away for a night in early June - if Grandparents will have the 2 kids!?!
Thanks in advance.

Just did a quick search for you for B&B
http://www.oxfordcity.co.uk/oxford/home_accommodation_guest_houses_b_b_band_c_up_to_60.html
Haven't used any of them so can't recommend, had a look through and a lot of them are not really within walking distance of the spires (if that you're planning to see)
The YHA has some family rooms (it's a new building so finishing will be nice) http://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/hostelpages/836.html
The hostel is next to the train station, not very good if you're a light sleeper but it's pretty central.
If you aren't too fussy about which hotel you might be staying in use priceline name your own price, they seem to only list hotels in the main area of town.
Hotels in Oxford are a bit expensive, although there are a few macdonald hotels so perhaps you could use your clubcard deals there?
Hope this helps! enjoy oxford.0 -

A possible alternative would be to try to find a £10 SuperSaver or a £26 Saver room at the Travelodge, Oxford Peartree. It is about 3 miles out of the city centre but is right next to a Park & Ride so you can easily get into the city. Granted, breakfast is not included but it might be worth a shot. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Have you considered Travelodge ?
https://www.travelodge.co.uk/make_a_booking/availability.php?hotel_id=60&doa_dd=3&doa_mm=06-2006&stay_len=1&no_of_rooms=1&corp_id=&rate_plan=&agent_type=&agent_code=&x=89&y=11
Only 3 miles from city centre, dependant on what others are available, may even be worth getting a Taxi into centre ?;)
!!!!!!There are More Questions Than Answers!!!!!!
:search: But I Just Don't Have Any Answers :idea:0 -
There are plenty along Woodstock and Banbury Road. They are in the west end of Oxford and certainly walking distance.0

There are a couple of B&Bs on this website close to the city centre. The B&Bs that we've stayed in through using this website have been superb. In one B&B that we stayed in, we met a couple that only stayed in B&Bs from this website!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0
