Floor tiling advise needed please

Hi, I hope someone may be able to answer the following question.
I have ceramic floor tiles in my kitchen which I laid three years ago onto a plywood base which sits on floorboards. I also used the adhesive designed for wooden floors to allow a bit of movement. I want to redo the floor in my utility room with the same tiles, however this has a concrete floor rather than floorboards as it is an extension to the house. Obviously I want the tiles from the kitchen to flow through into the utility room to make it look like one big floor but I don't know if I need to do anything special with the join? I would rather just tile from where the kitchen ones currently end but am worried that the join may crack?? due to the wooden floor moving slightly and the concrete floor not moving? Or I could put a door bar to cover a movement gap or a nice piece of wood?
Any advice welcome
thanks

Think i wouuld just do it and see what happens. If it cracks(and it may not)then you could stick something over it later. If the floor is nice and solid the chances are it won't move anyway. Also, will the first tile span the join or finish right on it?If it spans it,then you may not need to worry.0

After 3 years can you get tiles which match the older ones precisely (colour / glaze effect etc)? And will the levels between the two finishes be exact?
Personally I'd go for a nice piece of wood as a slight visual barrier between the two. That way any slight colour / finish difference or fractional difference in the levels will be mitigated? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
thanks for the answers so far
yes the current tiles end right where the floorboards join the concrete so unfortunately i can't bridge the gap with a tile. in reality to wooden floors move a lot? esp considering i put a plywood subfloor down
re the tiles, the colour that they are is pretty neutral so i doubt there will be much variation in them (i hope!!) and they will be the same height as the existing ones once they are laid
still not sure what do do as i don't really want a piece of wood joining them but at the same time i don't want a crack in the grout!!0 -
make sure you get the right adhesive as there are two types, one for concrete floors and a flexible one for floorboards. (Sorry if you already knew this)
I would just get a nice piece of wood or metal bar to cover the joinI haven't got one!0
