Although they may choose to go with the original offer if they think the buyer is more proceedable.

Thank you all so far, some interesting answers.


After even more investigation, Property Bee shows that the house was reduced from 79,950 (offers in excess of) to 72,000 (offers in excess of) and its status was changed from Available to Sold STC (although the agent's own site says Under Offer).

Both of these events occurred on the 20th July.

I will contact the agent and see what they say regarding a viewing and offer, as that's the only way to find out anything for sure.
