My partner needs to take out a life insurance and we went on the QT site and the cheapest was Synergy with critical illness at £70 they increased to about £165 why is Synergy so much cheaper and are they just as good please help.

Its not cheaper. You are not comparing like for like. Its a yearly renewable term assurance (or yearly renewable decreasing term assurance depending on what version you are after). You are probably comparing it against level term assurances (guaranteed or reviewable).why is Synergy so much cheaper and are they just as good please help.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
