How much notice do I need to give BT for moving my phone and broadband to new address

Just wondering if someone could clarify for me, there seems to be about 3 different time periods depending where you look on their website and the phone book! My new house already has a BT line.

Hey PicklePickle,
BT does ask that you give at least 5 working days notice and we will try and have your line connected at your new address. It then usually takes a further 5 working days after the line is working for the broadband to move over. However there are exceptions to the 5 working days where it can sometimes take longer. If you would like to PM me the details of your move I could give you a more accurate time period.
