Bank charge charges???

Hi new on here so be gentle lol
Ive been charged £90 for unofficial overdraft which came out on the 1st sept then on the 2nd of sept had £30 taken from my account for a debit card transaction that i made on the 30th aug. shouldnt that have taken priority as it was 2 days before the charges were due? Also the bank is now charging me umpteen ££££ for a unofficial overdraft that they have put me on. So my question is can they charge me for charges that they have given me already????

Definitely reclaim them. If they call them unofficial overdrafts or informal overdrafts they are talking nonsense since you and I know that you can only go into an overdraft or in excess of it WITH their consent.
Which bank are we talking about(so I can have a quick look at their current charging structure)?

its Lloydstsb. Didnt think they could, thanks. I have asked for a overdraft recently but been refused.
  • £90 is definitely reclaimable and I am working on that card payment. One of those banks I have an account with so read their new terms and conditions and makes no mention of it so will check their website on that £30.00 charge.

I think you need to ask the bank about that £30.00 charge. I wish they would just put the info on their site but for the life of me, I can't find it so please ask them.
