Yes at Seeb last January. Emirates use them on long haul flights.
No big deal to be honest it's only about 3 metres longer than a 747.
  • I seen it today in Belfast really close to it too. As my DS said 'it's hugeeeeeeeeee':p

Longer, taller, wider, bigger wing span, heavier, more powerful, quieter, more fuel efficient, can carry more passengers, flys higher and further . Made in Britain & Europe!

    Yep no big deal!!!
  • I saw it at Farnborough Air show 2006. It was flying in an out of clouds around the air field, like a real bird... pretty agile.
  • it flew right over my house. thought, what kind of plane is making that kind of noise! looked out my window and got a bit of a fright! pretty impressive though
  • I saw it whilst out recycling and almost had an 'accident' ! The way the engines were straining as it turned over Edinburgh to head (apparently) North, I thought we were in for an epic disaster. Awesome sight though, we don't get the biggest 'planes in Edinburgh as I don't think the airport is equipped for them, so most impressive, especially at low altitude.
  • I saw it driving along granton road on my way to work. It is huge. I described it to my boyfriend as "like something out of a film, like when you see UFO's covering the sky, thats exactly what it was like"

My boyfriends dad's best friend is flying to dubai on Monday onboard one. Really impressive.

    xx
