i need help in bankruptcy

my son may have to be made bankrupt, but befor that finel move , i neede to send a letter to all the people he owes money to so as to make them an offer. with a cheque inclosed, but if they cash the cheque it will be an exceptence of full and finel payment
but how do i need to word it ? this so stressfull
for us all, i just whant as many people payed or part payed as possible

has a liquidator been appointed in which case it is their duty to write to creditors, assess assets and to pay a final dividend if any.

whether it is a liquidation, voluntary arrangement, or administration someone should be appointed (by court) to deal with creditors.

as yet a liquidator as not been appointed

i have sent all a letter outlining the situation
we may beable to sort it without!

Do you mean his business is to be liquidated, or he is looking at personal Bancruptcy?

You will need a Licenced Liquidator for the business and and an Insolvency Practitioner for personal affairs. I know this as our accountant is a Licened Liquidator, who deals with winding up Ltd companies, though I am not sure of the position re Sole Traders and Partnerships, this may be down to Personal Bancurptcy.
I only ask in case you have not yet had any advice, or may be confusing the two.
