PJ, you are going to have to give your self a few weeks - months grace on the credit card applications, the more you enquire about the more footsteps you make in your credit scoring, every time you apply for one or a company does a check it comes up on your credit score the more you have in a short period the worse it looks have you been able to pay all your bills on time that can also go against you sorry mate
but well done on the g front your doing great!
you know you could always go back to egg and ask them for a reduced rate tell them you are planning to swap onto another card and would they consider lowering the % rate worth a try

The reason I don't gamble is because I don't enjoy it.
Why is this?
I think it's because of this:
When my friends do the lottery, or we're in the Casino or whatever, they are consumed by the dream and escape of the win.
When I consider putting a few pounds in the 1 arm bandit I'm put off.
The reason I'm put off is because I know that gambling machine and businesses have to be created so that there is more chance of losing than winning, otherwise there would be no business. Gambliong machines are set to a percentage (is it 70% lose?), so as soon as a £1 coin enters the machine it is immediately converter to 30p.
Why would I want to put my pound into a machine and see it converted into 30p?
That's the only thing I see when I see the gamble.
Stay focused on reality.
Hope that helps.
I would give credit cards to a partner if possible and dish out an allowance in cash because it's hard to visualise a number, especially when it goes above an everyday amount (for me that's about £10!).Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker0
