:j I've got far too many pairs in red. Shoes, sandals, boots, flip flops, trainers,
They kinda shout out at me when I'm shopping :rotfl:
Anyway, many thanks for your advice Quackers. I bought a clear pad in Morrisons yesterday, if it's quick and easy I'm more likely to use it!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I just love all shoes, but I am also the proud owner of new pink shoes (ASOS) which arrived on Friday ~ I have been wearing them all weekend and they look lovely
They also fit in nicely amongst the pale blue strappy sandals and the red trainers in the spare room (which is at the moment housing my collection)
I was wondering how to keep them clean too “I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I bought some FC trainers (pale blue) in TKMaxx a couple of months ago and the sole came apart from the shoe ~ I had to take them in to get glued back together. Wasn't very impressed.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I bought baby pink leather kickers and went into clarks for polish but it wasnt the right colour, so assistant suggested buying the pink and the white and just to mix it (eggcup) to the right shade of pink and that worked for me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

They do, don't they? Mind you pink shouting at you can be a problem, because sometimes it's Barbie merchandise (and I'm a bit old for that :rotfl: and never was really into Barbie!) and sometimes it's FC, and I really don't like FC with the UK on the end. I didn't even realise my new pink trainers were FC until I was under someone's desk and someone thought I had a rude word on their soles!
Anyway, many thanks for your advice Quackers. I bought a clear pad in Morrisons yesterday, if it's quick and easy I'm more likely to use it!
Oh Sue, please tell me you were installing computermabobs and not doing something dodgy under there.....:rotfl:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Even after all this time, I can confirm I only go under people's desks to install computermabobs and suchlike.
I work for a women's organisation, and am the nearest thing we have to an Engineer. :rotfl:
Although I am sometimes praying under there ...
In other news, I am pleased to report that my search for pink sandals finally paid off, I found a pink and apricot coloured pair one year, and the next an all pink pair. Also less excitingly a grey and silver pair, a two-tone blue pair and a black pair.
Sadly my feet can't cope with unsupportive sandals these days, so I mostly wear my boring grey Regatta ones. Although I did spot pink and grey Merrell sandals half price in Blacks the other day: I resisted at the time but looking at the Regattas I may need a new 'workhorse' pair soon.
Even more sadly, my FC pink trainers wore out and I haven't been able to replace them. But I have a nice black pair with pink flashes.
You will all be pleased to hear that the original pink leather shoes are still doing fine, thank you very much, mostly 'cos I don't wear them very often! :rotfl: And I don't fall over either.

I used to go under the desks, supposedly in search of a lead, and just hide there for ten minutes, hoping the boss lady wouldn't click clack her way into the office, looking for me.....I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
