Heatline Boiler Solaris 24

I recently had a problem with this boiler. The engineer came out and replaced a washer and did somethimg to the presure. However the following day the pressure dropped again and he returned. The problem was fixed but now we only get intimitant hot water. The engineer stated that this was due to the heat exchanger thinking it was overheating due to "bits" in the water and that this would not be covered by the guarentee and heatline would not replace it and I would have to have it cleaned myself. I have curremtly found out this is a common fault with these boilers therefore in my opinion this is a design fault and the boiler is not fit for purpose, Has anybody come across this or do you agree?

  • Hi

I have a Solaris 30, and I am now on my 4th heat exchanger, in only 2 years. I do live in an area of hard water, but this is stupid!
