housecall problems

my internet keeps cutting off all the time and although im pos. i havent got anything bad on the system, its just taken an hr of trying housecall to get it to scan. ie kept freezing and closing or housecall would just do nothing. it has been stuck on 99% for ages now although it hasnt frozen yet. any ideas? im just about ready to kill someone, this is about the 20th time tonight ive had to reconnect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What it sounds like is your missing a filter on one of your phone sockets.

I went to a house and his connection would drop after 2-3 minutes it turned out a phone was connected to a socket in the attic we added a filter and everything was fine after.

Locate every phone socket in the house. and decide which is the master socket fitted by BT. Some extentions will come out of the front of this socket some out of the back hard wired in to the circuit. those from the back require a filter at the point where the phone pluggs in.
those comming out of the front, plug a filter in to the master socket and any extentions in to the filter this should sort your connection out.
