Cheap & Filling Bournemouth Breakfast!

Hi

We are visiting Bournemouth for the first time, in October.

We have booked our hotel - very cheap - breakfast not included.

The hotel wishes to charge about £10 for breakfast!!

Can anyone recommend a cheapish but nice restaurant/cafe to have breakfast in Bournemouth?

Also, recommendations for restaurants for dinner would be appreciated (and also any insider tips/advice too for visiting Bournemouth).

Thanks for your advice

GJ x

There is a Weatherspoons in the square - "The Moon in the Square" - and I have always found their breakfasts to be of good quality and value for money.

I live in Christchurch which is near Bournemouth and i've found there's a fantastic greasy spoon behind Lidl at the ringwood road retail park, where you can get a 'recession buster' breakfast, which is blimmin huge, for £6.

*was also going to say Wetherspoons* Many's the time I've sat in there and had their veggie breakfast after party conference based frolics!

    Hi

I booked the Premier Inn Central. It was built as a 4 star hotel, verging on 5 I would say - just amazing. However, the developers spent millions on it and then went bankrupt and Premier Inn picked it up. I would stay there asap as it won't last forever!

It's rated the number 1 hotel in Bournemouth on trip advisor - check it out.

    Defnitely recommend it.
