Well, me and DH pulled the carpet up, he got his chisel set, tidied the hole and measured what we needed. He then sent me to B&Q for summink to fill the hole while he finished off . TIt was the first time I've ever been to B&Q on my own
Anyway, ever the DFWer, I found an offcut for £1 and we fixed it
Over 4 years I've put up with that hole, and it took less than an hour to fix
Mind, I did find a piece of the living room ceiling on the floor down here, brought down by the hammering
I told him this morning that I found watching him repair our house VERY SEXY (i didnt :rotfl:) so I can foresee Mr Spud volunteering for much more DIY in future
i love it!!!!! :T:T:T
