Ebay Revised auction

Hi

I was wondering what people thought of my situation and where I would stand.

On the 31st August I won an item on ebay - the description was the following :
MACs Moistureblend Compact Foundation SPF 15- NW20,NW25

I read the description a few times before buying and it clearly stated the auction was for the above :
MAC Moistureblend Compact Foundation
SPF 15
NW20
& NW25

A compact foundation that gives moisture with a smooth satin finish.

Provides a medium to buildable coverage with a skin-flattering, radiant silky feel.

This is a fabulous compact with mirror in case and sponge applicator underneath.

*No sticker on base, but these are shades NW20 & NW25*

Today I receieved an email for the seller asking me to state what shade i wanted, so I replied stating that the auction said it was for both shades as shown above.
On the 2nd September however the auction has been revised (I paid for my item on the 31st August via BUY IT NOW) to add a subtitle saying to state the shade you want.

This was not there when I bought my item so am i entitled to both as that is what the description led to believe?

I have emailed the seller and ebay about it as it has been revised with that information after I have completed the transaction but I wanted to see what others thought.

Any comments would be appreciated.

The original auction is all that matters, the revision can only add to the original auction but is not enforceable on the buyer. IN a disoute ebay can see the date of your bid and the date of the revision.

However you can't force the seller to send both shades, if they don't though you have the ultimate sanctions as you can get a refund and leave a negative. Explain to the buyer that you will expect both shades for your payment, if they refuse or want more money tell them you will not proceed with purchase unless they stick to the original terms.
