I have my exams coming up at the end of May and I am looking for a good pen that I could use. It would need to be comfortable and last. Any help would be great.

i've just finished my finals and i find the best pens are the ones you can get free from universities at open days but most free company pens seem to work well for me. i tend to go for ones with no rubber as i get cramp in my fingers when writing for long periods of times. hope this helps and good luck with ur exams0

Tescos are selling a nice Parker Pen worth £6 for only 74p!! I think this has already been posted in the 'Quick Grab it' section.
I got one today - they're grrrrreeeaaaatttt!!!!
Go grab one!;)0 -
and get some spares - in an exam from hell i took at uni i had 3 pens, and they all ran out of ink! i ended up finishing the exam with a chewed up biro from one of the invigilator's handbags!!:happyhear0

I agree with the post about parker pens, they are great for exams. The only thing I found was that they are quite heavy and if you have to write alot (like an essay or something) then they do tend to make your arm ache, but they are ok if you are just answering standard questions. When I was doing my exams I took a clear pencil case in with about 20 different types of pens, so that if I didnt feel comfortable with one, or the ink ran out I had a variety of different ones to choose from! It shouldn't affect your grades if you change pen half way through, so long as your writing is readable and your overall presentation is good.(This does also depend on what level exam you are taking, obviously they are not so hot on presentation in GCSE level as they would be at Degree level)
I must add that I think I'm a bit of a 'penaholic'!! I always buy a new pen for each exam and at the start of every new term. I guess I'm kinda weird!!
Whatever you decide penwise, Good Luck with the exams!Sam0 -
