packet delivery - not in - is it a scam?

i only ask if its a scam because its not in either of our names.

came home from work to find a royal mail flyer telling me the item was too big for my letterbox. the name is not ours but the address is.

worth a trip to the sorting office? or is this a scam?

If it was me I would go and collect it, won't cost you anything to find out will it.

These type of scams are usually only when you are asked to call an expensive number to listen to a recorded message, not when you actually get to collect the items for free.

im intrigued what it is. and of course ill ask the neighbours if its for them. if not then keepies. lol

is it an RM card or one that looks like one?
common ploy by debt collectors chasing up old debts
if its a poper RM card then no scam.check the top right hand corner on the back of the card
look for "p739 oct 06 royal mail yada yada" in small white writing down the edge
