(Now...I don't understand why a 3year old horse doesn't have a name...what have they called him for 3 years....???)
Why not have a go?
We will choose the most original name and the lucky winner will be given a 2.5% share in this 3YO in training for next year's flat season (Worth over £1000) - which means you will gain access to all our information about the horse, enjoy days at the races as well as a share in any winnings - just like every shareholder with Ownaracehorse.

The competition is open to all visitors to the Ownaracehorse website and we will email all entrants with the result after the closing date.

Suggesting a name...
Choose a name for our un-raced gelding by top sire Captain Rio. We will choose the one we feel is the most original and fits the horse's looks and breeding. He is beautifully bred, so we are either looking for a name which reflects his exceptional Group winning mother and father, or the sort of name which a 'Classic' horse would have.

Please ensure your suggestion is less than 18 characters long, is not the name of a current horse in training (check the Racing Post) and is likely to pass accreditation at the BHB (ie. no expletives etc...).
