    http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/destinations/events/Drayton.cfm

"Coach services feeding into National Express West Midlands bus service at Digbeth Coach Station"

Although it also says "Services commence from Wednesday 23 July, running five days a week till Sunday 31 August."

    So maybe it's finished.

Googling further makes me think the answer is therefore: Birmingham Central Coach Station

Looks like your best bet is train from Birmingham New St to Tamworth, then bus 110 to Zoo.

I usually find Transport Direct very good for this kind of query.

The bus takes about an hour from Birmingham - I'd get a bus from Tamworth station which takes about 10 minutes.

It's a 110 (Arriva) and I've only ever caught it from Corporation Street - follow the signs for town centre from the station. You should be able to see the getting off stop quite easily because it's just after a roundabout with Drayton Manor signposted off to the left.

Its a 15 minute walk from there tops.

Unfortunately I think the direct national express coach finishes at the end of August or that would be much easier.

Forgot to say the bus is quite frequent - every 20mins I think
