How long can you freeze cookie dough for?

I made a couple of batches of dough and froze half of each last autumn (around probably Oct/Nov time). As we travelled for hols, didn't get to use all for Xmas. Used it up during the year and actually finished the last batch last week - DH and DD were fighting for them as they were Choc Choc chips. Still perfect.
I actually also put 2 half batches in freezer last week (using up eggs before BBD) so will use those in next couple months. I just wrap them in parchment and tie the ends tightly.GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897

Would anything preclude a recipe from freezing? ie baking powder? I want to make condensed milk biscuits this afternoon (a childhood favourite) but the recipe makes loads. And there is only little ol' me to eat them!Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0
