Annual travel insirance for over 70s

All we want is an insurance to cover us for the UK, I've tried Google but no luck. Anyone any suggestions please?

What are you wanting it to cover you for, is it just the cancellation part?

Cancellation, lost/stolen property, getting home in an emergency about covers it.I think

It would be better to cover the property under your home insurance as travel policies offer very poor cover for property. You may already find your Home Insurance already covers it.

How long are the trips you go on and are they in pre booked accomadation?

Roughly what cost are your holidays.

We are talking of short trips, just 2 or three nights away, usually by coach or car. They holidays tend to be under £500 for the 2 of us. Yes I do mean getting home in an emergency.

I do not know of anyone who offers an annual policy just for the UK (There may be someone). This would mean you have to take out an European Policy which will be expensive.

A travel policy is not going to be a great deal of help in getting home in an emergency on a UK trip
