Beware anyone calling from a mobile number that claims to be from T-mobile. T-mobile do NOT use mobiles to call their customers.

I got a call from a number "07970391862" this afternoon at work and the girl said she was from T-mobile and was calling me about an upgrade. I said I was in work and could not take the call. Type this number into google and you will see many people have reported it on various forums/sites like this one.

Next i called T-mobile to report this. I was told it would not have been them as I am not due and upgrade anyway and they dont call from mobiles.

I was wise to this scam as they tried to con both me and my father last year.

Dont give out any detials like passwords etc to these people.

OP - change the title, it reads that T-mobile are the scammers!

Put something like "Scammers claiming to be T-Mobile"...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Im with T-Mobile and get at least 20 of these calls whenever its time for my upgrade. I just tell them I upgraded last week and how come they havnt got that on their system. They either hang up or lie and say "oh yes, I can see that, sorry to bother you"

Still its nice to get a spammer reminding me its time to sort out an upgrade LOL

Seriously though I think T-Mobile must sell their customers details to these companies, because if you do upgrade it ties you in for another 18 month without T-Mobile having to do much work compared with upgrading with them direct.

Just yet another company that takes the pizz with their customers data, a sign of the times me thinks.

Click on Edit, and then Go Advanced and you get the option to edit the title.
