Firstly hello all, don't like to dive straight in with questions but I'm a bit baffled as to whether or not I can claim anything back from natwest, over the years I've always been in my overdraft and have paid alot in interest. I know there's been alot of disccusion about claiming charges back but is it possible to claim anything on interest thats been paid. Over the years I've paid thousands so to just get a bit of this back would be nice during these tough times. I've got an advantage gold account if that makes any difference (meant to be a lower interest rate) that I've also been paying about £12 pound a month for, that plus interest of about £30 works out a fair bit !!
thanks in advance

No. Interest is not unfair, unlike the penalties imposed by exceeding your agreed overdraft. You borrowed money from the bank, and you can't expect to get that for free.0

As has already been said the answer is no. Do you use the benefits of the Advantage Gold account since if you don't I would downgrade it to a current plus account?
You need to sit down and have a good look through your finances since if you living within your overdraft, it is not an ideal situation really.0
