This company phoned me on my ex-directory mobile no today and advised me they were acting on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and asked me if i had credit cards. I said stupidly said Yes and they asked me if the credit card companies had changed their terms during the time that i had them (i.e. extended my credit limit without my consent) as if they did i would be entitled to claim all the money back that i had paid them.

I told them that I believed that this was the case but that I didn't have any info on me and to phone back tomorrow. In the meantime i googled this phone no and found that there were a considerable amount of comments on this company and that basically it was a scam.

It sounds as though if they manage to get your account details from you they have straight away taken amounts from £149 to £199 from peoples accounts.

When this company do phone back today, i will advise them that I am not interested and ask them to remove my number from there records.

I have now reported this company to TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and have also logged it with the Ministry of Justice.

Thought it might be an idea to warn other people who may also get contacted by the company.
