  • £700 below the asking price so I have declined!

I dont blame you - that is ridiculous! :rotfl: Did they really think you'd go for it? Hehe.

Well done with all you've been doing. Very good luck on the Scratchcard!! :T - Most Ive won is a fiver - on a £2 card. :o

    Keep going.

  • Not feeling very positive today, OH didn't get either job but he can't drop his prices any further:o

Feeling very tearful and just want to run away:D I've rung the National Debtline for their info pack which they are going to send.

I've re-visited my SOA which:D has now frightened the life out of me. I put OH earnings as zero which means I can't pay any of my cc's and that's without the overheads of the business - need to keep thinking positive but can't, there's a great big Black cloud over me which I'm trying so hard to hide from my family.

Being off work helps but I'm worrying about that as well.

Running out of things to put on e-bay, only thing left to sell is myself and I don't think I'd get much :rotfl:

Anyway sorry for being negative - must go and try to motivate myself and think positive thoughts;)
  • Hi. keep your chin up.

I can relate to being negative today - just had a big old rant on my own diary! But we must try to cheer up.

    :T

Im sure he will get some jobs soon, things can only get better as they say! Just put on a brave face and think happy thoughts. Apart from that I dont really know what to suggest.

Just wanted to stop by with some kind words.

  • Thanks September, you do cheer me up!!
  • I try!! :D

The good thing about black clouds is that they have to move along eventually!

  • Maybe if you post up your revised SOA it might be a little weight off your mind? Just a thought.

Sometimes it helps to get it all out in the open! I know what its like hiding things from the family. Didnt tell my OH about my debt for YEARS was losing sleep and everything.

    Just a cheeky suggetsion.......Maybe? :T :D;)

  • 2 items listed on e-bay and 1 re-listed

Played free Mecca Bingo but didn't win anything but that was fun:p

Did a comparison for Life Insurance on my OH - got a quote for £172 which I thought was really good and a lot less than we are currently paying until... I read through the quote and it turns out that it was £172 per month:rotfl:

Trying to have positive thoughts but finding it really hardddddddd!

I might pluck up the courage to post my new SOA as September has suggested:T
  • £172 per month?!?!? Theyre having a laugh!

Well done on the ebay - perserverance (spelling?) is key. :money:

Hopefully I will put up my SOA this week too! Its just finding the time.

And on the positivity front, this is going to sound ridiculous, but I find that I cannot help but feel positive if I sing Elton John - I'm still standing (I mean, trying to be in tune and being appropriatly upbeat as he is in the song).... Just a thought. :D Something I do when Im feeling really down - but it has to be out loud! :o

Let me know how your getting on - keep posting!

  • Thanks for your encouragement September:T
  • What a difference a day makes! Yesterday I was really fed up and feeling very sorry for myself and everything looked doomed:(

Today however has been much better:

I rang BT to see when my broadband contract was up (thinking it was ages off) to be told October 13th So then I rang Sky to see what they could offer me and found that I can probably save about £40 per month if I drop my sky package down a notch and have sky broadband & phone:cheesy:

Next, my OH has secured 3 jobs over the next week or so which means that we should have enough to see us through to the end of the month (fingers crossed)

Also, having some luck with ebay and have sold a few things so far:rolleyes:

    Let's hope it continues
