Hello, I am planning on doing my 1st carboot sale and have loads of my little boys clothes to get rid of in sizes from birth to 1yr. What do you think would be the best way to try and sell them? individually or bundles maybe? there is nothing special there mostly Tesco's clothes.
Any advice would be greatly appriciated x

How about something like 50p an item or three for a £1..as everyone likes to think they have got themselves a bargain.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If they are vests/t-shirts then I would package them up like you see in the shops - packs of 3 or 5 - as you can buy these things relatively cheaply brand new I would say £1 - £1.50 is about right, especially if there is nothing 'designer' in there. As sooin says, people like to feel they are getting a bargain - so look at your items and ask yourself what you would honestly be prepared to pay for it if you saw it on someone's stall. There's no point in asking too much and not selling it and having to take it all back home with you. Be prepared to haggle with prospective buyers, perhaps do a buy bogof?0

At my local car boot one seller has divided her kids clothes into sizes, so 0-3 months, 3-6 months, etc.0

for future reference - people LOVE to rummage
we dont sort our clothes at all, just dump them in a box (or out onto a plastic sheet) and let people pick thier way through...
we have done it the neat 'bundles' way and hardly sold a thing0 -
Also - have a look and see if there is a manic mums sale or something similar near you......another way to sell baby/children's clothes! Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved!
