Immersion Heater Switches
My friend has just moved into a flat that has an electric immersion heater, it just has an on/off switch as per the photo HERE.
What she would like to be able to do is have a timer, so the immersion heater can be set to come on a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening, what would she need or need to do for this?
Thanks for your help.

It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

I imagine she'd need to replace the existing switch with something like this:

No, it's just hot water with the Immersion, so E7 would work out dearer.
Heating is by gas, a blow through system, whatever that is called. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc...
