DD has already been taken on 1 Sept. I only realised today because card was very embarassingly declined at Mr Ms today:mad: Maternity payment holiday was 6 months. I had to follow up to get the dates right back in Feb and (eventually) got a letter to confirm payments would recommence 1 Oct. Afternoon all.
Busy time here at chez Cat. Been to story time at the library and then the breastfeeding clinic, then home, put Evie to bed and now checking route to Filey online via aa route planner (don't trust sat nav as it tried to divert me via Manchester to get to Carlisle!
Luc - give em a rollicking, the blimming well deserve one for stealing a mortgage payment from you! I was gutted when I went to the bank earlier - my salary has been eaten up by bills and Wayne's wage hasn't greatly added anything to the balance! We're going to be stuffed in a couple of months when I'm surviving on SMP alone:eek:. I really need to get organised and sort out a plan of action but weaning Evie seems like so much more fun! Galling to know that if I'd taken a year off sick I'd have been paid full pay for six months and then half pay for six months. But having a baby is full pay for 8 weeks, half pay for 16 weeks then SMP aloneDFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debt
