Tom Tom Broke 1year warrenty just run out ,any1 help

Hi ,just wondered if anyone could help me out on a matter , i bought a tom tom one v3 on the 13th july 2008 from amazon ,but this week it cut off and there was a burning smell coming out of it , in the booket it says there is a 1 year warrenty ,but i have heard somewere about electrical goods been given 2 years , does anyone know if this applys to a tom tom sat nav ? also does anyone know if i have any rights to get this tom tom fixed ,as it was only lightly used and ,surley its shouldnt have burnt out just over a year from purchase

TomTom products have a two year warranty after 1st April 2007! Go to the TomTom website and register the fault. They will repair it for you, and they're pretty efficient about it as well.
