Rethink Tea Party - Getting Tea, Coffee, Raffle Prizes etc?
Options
Rethink are one of the UK's leading mental health charities, providing support for people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
They're asking people to organise tea parties this autumn in order to raise funds and awareness. You can find out more here: http://www.rethink.org/get_involved/support_rethinks_work/rethink_tea_party.html
I'm trying to organise one in my local area (Lymm, Cheshire) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
I was thinking I could contact some companies to ask if they would donate tea, squash, cakes or prizes for a raffle. Any ideas which companies might be receptive?
Also does anyone know where is cheapest for buying large quantities of tea and coffee?
Is anyone else organising one and do you have any ideas?

We have found both Waitrose and the Coop have responded to requests like this on a local level.
As for the cheapest, I'd just look out for Bogofs.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks. I forgot I even posted this thread.
We have a Co-Op next door to us, so I will ask them. No Waitrose locally, although I know they are great with community causes.0 -
Hi
If you know anyone who are a card for Makro's of Costco these can work out quite cheap if you want to buy a lot of products.

I organise a Macmillan coffee morning each year, and have found that Waitrose, Tesco, Co-op and M&S always donate tea, coffee, biscuits, cakes etc very generously. x0
