your backup files are on the D drive on your computer.

Click My Computer then click the D: drive. You should also have a CD disc called restore or recovery disc.

Like the names of stuff on the desktop and menus?
Right click on desktop -> click on Personalize
on the left of the window that appears it says 'Tasks', under that it says 'Adjust font size (DPI)', click on that
    Then click on 'larger scale'
    Things should be bigger then
  • Dobiesmon: Go to control panel, find addremove programs and remove all programs that reference AOL. While is obviously isn't, I talk about it as though it is a virus to my work colleagues because AOL installs are in my opinion very 'invasive'. Anything that runs on your PC that isn't needed, takes processor time.

    Hi Dobiesmon

You can make recovery DVD's by going into the start menu, > Hewlett-Packard > HP CD Recovery CD-DVD Creator. Unfortunately, modern computers don't come with recovery cd's/DVD's anymore. Most store the information on a hidden part of the hard drive so it's good to make these disks incase you need to replace your hard drive ;)

To remove the AOL software, download and use the tool Revo Uninstaller

**Be sure that the AOL software is actually installed, often what happens is AOL will put a short cut onto the desktop and when you click on this the software will be installed.***
