Hi,
Here is my problem that i have been putting up with for god knows how long!!
When i switch on my PC my card ALWAYS connects to an unsecured signal from someone else in my street. I have to connect to my signal manually. The unsecure signal is weaker than my signal. IS there a way i can delete the unsecured signal from the list of available signals so that it will always connect to mine??
Thanks in advance

Check the following:
Right click on your wireless network icon, View available wireless networks, Change advanced settings, Wireless networks, Highlight your SSID, Properties, Connection. Check "Connect when this network is in range". Click OK, Advanced, Make sure "Access Point (Infrastructure) Networks only" is selected, and "Automatically connect to non-preferred networks" is unchecked. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
espresso, you are a star :money:
It was the advanced settings "Access Point (Infrastructure) Networks only" that was not checked.
