Thinking of selling clothes on ebay - Views?

If you are selling as a business then FVFs are not 10% as they are for private sellers.
If you have paypal refund for an item and the buyer is not required to return it then you are selling fakes as it is illegal under UK law to return or trade in fakes and paypal will enforce this with proof from the buyer. If you are selling letigiamte goods then the buyer can only get a refund on its tracked return.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Most brands like TX Maxx will sue you if you resell their goods.0

How can they do that? If you buy something from TK Maxx, the item is then legally yours to sell.
Nothing to do with TK Maxx what you do with it.
Also, it is not like TK Maxx own the brands anyway. They are simply doing what Ebay sellers aim to do. Buying branded stock at a low price and selling these items on, with the idea of making a profit.
There is no harm in doing this although if people are going to buy from shops with the aim of making a profit elsewhere. Firstly, know you are going to be able to sell it at a price which would give you a good return (after costs). Secondly, declare it otherwise if you do it too consistently then you are simply building up evidence against yourself were the taxman to come knocking
Good luck on Ebay, people. I've almost given up on the site. I had planned to sell some more stuff on there, but people are selling items for next to nothing through auction. It appears everything I own and wanting to quickly get rid of, Ebay is already flooded with. I'm giving all to charity except the PS2 lol. Without going into too much of a rant I think the new star system on Ebay is awful. I promptly sent something by post the day after the auction ended (as I stated in the advert) and got 2 stars for delivery despite using royal mail first class service. What's that all about? lol:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:D:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:jMe and the gang!!!0
