About a foot deep should be ample, personally i would go for a trough type pot about 20-30" long and 12" wide, a couple of canes pushed in at each end and some netting strung across between them will support them as they grow.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

I plan to grow peas in pots next year and last weekend bought an old barrell, split in two, especially for this project

Just go to the local diy store and ask for a pot to pea in.:rotfl:
But yes a large pot or tub, or and old vegetable oil can like you find at the back of Take-aways would do.My Mind wanders, if found please return.0
