Lloyds TSB has closed my account....

Hi all,

Im re-claiming and fighting till the end and make sure i get every penny thanks to this site. Ive sent many letters and e-mails to lloyds tsb asking for my money and still they want me to pay back my debt after being charged £250 every month. I now have a joint account luckily with my partner for me to live on but my main account has now been closed by lloyds tsb even tho im still re-claiming from them. I also have a personal loan with them and as they closed my account i got a letter from there solicitors to pay my loan off a.s.a.p but ive told lloyds tsb on the phone as its on hold i refuse to pay you till i get every penny from your piece of crap bank.... Is this right for them to do this to me? If anybody has had the same as this to me let me know. or what do i need to do? or sit and wait till we hear from the lords?

I hope the joint account is not with LloydsTSB cos they can use the right of set off to take money from that to cover loan arrears.
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?

Would the amount they owe you cover the amount owing on the current account AND the loan?
The current OFT Test case decision will NOT lead to refunds because this is the half way mark in the case.

The joint account was set up by my partner and they tried to take some money about before but my partner stopted them as she said shes the main holder and would like permission before they take. But dont have any debt arreas. Im a full time worker. but was thinking if i pay my loan off into the branch every month cash in hand as its a contract and keep fighting for my charges? also am going through claims justice for the claim and paid a £10 fee but ever since i been fighting for it on my own so thinking of cancelling and getting my £10 back and just fight. lol
