Excel Parking

I received a letter from Excel Parking stating that a ticket had been issued to my vehicle and a demand for £100.
I followed the instructions on this site and issued them with a letter stating that I was not the driver and that I didn't have to tell them who was.
I then received another letter saying that they had been successful in court in pursuing parking invoices.
I wrote back telling to stop harrassing me.
Today I have received a letter stating "Further to your correspondence where you have confirmed that you would like this matter to proceed to court". ............. At no time have I sent any correspondence stating this. The only correspondence I have sent is the standard letters available on this site.
They state that there are certain procedures that they have to follow prior to Court Action. They say that they are now going to issue me with a final demand and then if I do not pay that the matter will be passed to their Debt Recovery Agents. Who will deal with the outstanding charge on their behalf.
The letter goes on to say "Unfortunately, we are unable to proceed with Court Action without first passing this matter to Debt Recovery, therefore if you are unhappy with this matter being passed to debt recovery, we can only recommend that you pay this charge".
Has anybody reading this had dealings of this manner with this organisation or others similar?

Just ignore it. Debt collectors have no power whatseover, and, contrary to Excel's lies, they don't have much success in court, either.

Make yourself a cuppa and sit down to read this thread:

Then you will have the confidence to stop worrying. Please stop replying to them, it just gives them the idea they might wear you down in the end.
The advice on these forums is to ignore private parking tickets and all letters. Don't reply at all and don't worry about debt collectors (they are not bailliffs, more likely they are the same firm using a different letter heading, just to scare people into paying).
You will see there is nothing to fear, from the above link. Relax!
P.S. I know someone who also got a ticket the other week in a supermarket car park. That person is not concerned at all, they are just waiting for the threatening letters which will be useful to re-use as printing paper for coupons...!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yesterday I got a ticket from these people I parked in a disabled bay I am a blue badge holder but forgot to display it, It was only a few minutes went back to the car to put it on just as the chap was just about to slap the ticket on my car.
I shouted sorry I do have a badge I am just about to put in in when he quickly slapped the ticket on.
He said if I wrote in within 7 days it would be cancelled, he gave me his name
and said he would inform them also.
I am a bit worried as this site say's ignore these tickets, I showed him my badge
and the car is registered in my name.
It wasn't a pay and display it was a free carpark in a shopping area.
What should I do?0 -

Worried about what?
Read the threads.
Ignore the ticket.
(unless the ticket is from a council and then there are other options)0
