How to get a refund from pppay.com

Hi All,
I bought something off ebid using pppay.com and took delivery today. To cut a long story short there is damage to the item (not caused by the post, must have happened before) and the buyer did not tell me about it, when I specifically asked.
Does anyone know how I can get a refund for this? As far as i can see it seems I can get a refund from pppay.com (I think... ???) but I'm not 100% on how to do it. Have any of you guys got any pearls of wisdom for me?
