Crackle Paint.

Options
What i'm looking for is some crackle paint, hopefully someone will know what I mean. This is a paint that cracks when applied to wood to give the finish an antique look.

I want to paint a peice of ply-board with a cream colour and apply the crackle paint on top to get a old looking finish.

Ive checked the internet but kind find any well known shops selling it, i have found some little pots available on the internet but not quite right for me, these are only very small, my area to cover is 35 inch by 35 inch.

can anyone assist in locating some please. hopefully an online shop or some big department store.

Cheers

Wilkisons sells this paint if you have one near you. Other than that some of the diy sheds such as homebase or b&q may have a small range.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
  • Remember you don't need a lot. Crackle glaze is very easy, first coat will be background colour (emulsion is OK), second coat the crackle glaze (clea), 3rd coat the top colour (and water based paint, emuly is OK), then stand back and watch. We bought 500cls and still have 4/5ths of it
