Is it worth going out of my way to shop at Farmfoods?

Our nearest Farmfoods is about 6 miles away which isn't far, but my Tesco Extra is 1 mile away and Sainsburys 2.5miles away.
Is it worth shopping there, are there any particular items that they sell on a regular basis that may be worth the journey. I know that they have coupons sometimes that can be used at Tesco so it may be worth the journey just to get a couple of those!

I love farmfoods and go once a month. My local is about 10 miles away. Their microwave dinners are very poor but their kingsmill bread is always on offer,k chicken filletts are good deal, frozen veg/ice cream, chips, milk.
Fridge stuff is not cheap neither tinned stuff but milk is good.
I try and fill up both my freezers then do lidl for cold stuff and fruit/veg.
It really pays to vary where you shop.0 -
I haven't used them in ages, but think a trip to check it out is well worth it and yes, their frozen food for a big stock up the freezer.0

make sure you have room in your freezer before you go, but for an occasional shop it is definitely worth travelling an extra 5 miles I'd say. their prices are good for milk & bread to in my opinion so don't just go for the freezer stuff... (and get some carrier bags, they're free and you can re-use them over and over, they're very good quality)0

Does anyone know if they have a good vegetarian selection of frozen stuff?

Thanks folks, I may take a look at the end of next week when my daughter goes back to school.
I love her to bits and she is an angel but I can't wait to go shopping on my own!0 -
Id say yes, we're very lucky in that we have a farmfoods 5 mins away, co op food 5 mins, a huge tesco 6 mins away, and a sainsburys and somerfield 15 mins from us.
Farmfoods is great for frozen stuff. We save a lot by splitting the shopping and doing it with different shops.0 -
they have a reasonably good selection of vegetarian frozen stuff. About the same as our tesco extra.0

12 mile round trip, average 35 mpg? £1.60 petrol plus a bit of wear and tear, lol. Personally, I think it's probably worth it to stock up on the Nicky toilet rolls. 9 rolls for £2 and they are fantastic quality (better than any of the premium brands IME). We go there very infrequently but stock up big time on the Nicky. The cheap food would be a bonus for us, lol.Call me Carmine....
