I think school uniform seems cheaper than ever this year....Asda doing 3 for 2, Sainsburys 25% off....can't grumble really. Decent shoes can still be pricey though.0

Sprog starts 6th form next week so no more school uniform to buy! :jNice. I've rarely seen uniform reduced, apart from as BettiePage said, or perhaps the odd summer dress in the winter and I've been buying it for 15 years  Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places!Illegitimi non carborundum.0 -
we are in scotland and i remember tesco ..reducing school clothes mid september ... asda had half price school stationary , bags , pencil cases etc today ...and only had a small aisle with school clothes on it ...0

I reckon your best plan with uniform is to buy it early. I got all mine from M&S when the 3 for 2 deal was on, if I went along now I bet they wouldn't have the choice of styles or the sizes in. Plus I wouldn't fancy having to sew all those name tags in straight away, it takes me all the school holidays to do that lol0

Most of the supermarkets return the un-sold stock to the depot to be repackaged ready for next year.0
