When do they reduce the uniform ?

Hi I wondered if anyone could tell me when they start reducing the school uniform. Ive phoned Matalan and ASDA but no one is willing to tell me. My sons starts but not for a bit so i'd rather buy it when its been reduced than at full price like it is now.
Also if anyone knows where there are any offers like they had in Tesco.

I doubt anywhere would be reducing school uniform on the last week of the summer holidays which is probably the busiest week for selling school uniform.

The supermarkets are cheap enough so i also think they will not reduce them.x

I know they wont be reducing them this week, but they will eventually start reducing bits of unifom as they always do. I just wondered if anyone knew when.

I'm waiting for a few weeks to get DDs school shoes, just keep an eye out in Asda and other places, I'm sure it'll be posted on here when they go cheaper

When I worked at asda they rarely reduced the uniform unless maybe a shirt was missing from the pack. As stated they're dirt cheap anyway, plus any few bits that were left would just get recycled the next year.

There will be little choice of sizes and styles left by now too. People would come in the day before they were due to go back and wonder why we had none left. Well, we'd had boxes and boxes (and rails and rails) of school stuff in since about May and it's now all gone.

I'm not bothered, it was purely friendly advice. However now you've outed yourself as too lazy and selfish to actually spend a few seconds looking for the right place, perhaps people might not be friendly in future...

Nice. I've rarely seen uniform reduced, apart from as BettiePage said, or perhaps the odd summer dress in the winter and I've been buying it for 15 years :eek: Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places!
