Air Miles - NatWest has withdrawn mine

I got a letter this morning from NatWest withdrawing my future ability to collect Air Miles - I am wondering if they are doing it across the board or just to people like me that rack up the mile but pay off the bill each month.

Does anyone know of a card with airmiles as I think my Natwest one is going in the bin next month.

The bmi MBNA card does, but they are Star Alliance air miles.

The Tesco credit card allows you to collect clubcard points and convert these into Airmiles automatically. You get more miles per pound* than Natwest, anyway!

*It was 2.4x as many miles but Tesco have just reduced their clubcard points so it is now only 1.2x (but still more)!

I've been collecting Airmiles via my NatWest cc too, I also pay it off each month but I haven't had a letter! I'm specifically saving up airmiles to go and visit a child I sponsor in Tanzania - It's taking a while as I'm a single person so don't spend so much as a family might but slowly and surely I will get there.

:T Thanks King of Fools for your info on Tesco cc - I shall investigate!! I may then get to Tanzania sooner! :j

I also have a NW Credit Card and collect air miles + pay it off every month.

I've not heard anything yet, but to be honest, the air miles are a total waste of time to me. I think after about 6 years I have enough for a cinema ticket!!

It'll be a blessing in disguise if they do withdraw me from them because i'll get a decent cashback card!!

I would have thought the letter would have explained why they were withdrawing it, or if not then you should ring them and check!

The Times/Sunday Times are running an Air Miles promotion at the moment which you may already be aware of.

They're printing 10 miles in each daily paper until the end of May, 20 in Saturday editions and 30 in the Sunday Times.

Additionally, there are 20 air miles available weekly from https://www.timesonline.co.uk/airmiles for 4 weeks (week 1's on there now) - simply print it off.

If you had collected from the beginning (last Saturday) for the 4 weeks of the promotion, you can collect 500 miles. Start with today's paper and you'll still earn 420 miles.
